One of the most interesting aspects of the Super Bowl is the annual parade of new advertising for products. Companies spend millions of dollars on these ad campaigns, hoping to make major profits. Today’s Family First site visits a site that has advertising as it’s theme, but operates with a slightly lower budget.
The site is called Godvertising, and just like it sounds, God is advertising. Here is a collection of reader boards located outside of churches, and the catchy slogans that various denominations have come up with. There is a wide variety of topics featured, such as funny, thought-provoking, poetic, instructive, and (my favorite) play on words. Each reader board has an interpretation and analysis of the message, which tends to invoke thought and meaning.
This is a very spiritual site, one that spending some time at can be both pleasant and instructive. Maybe you could even come up with one of your own. Enjoy your time here, and come back often.
